Refund policy
At DailySpaces, we want you to love every product you purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, we're here to help in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (South Africa).
Returns
We accept eligible returns within 15 calendar days of the delivery date for products that meet the conditions below.
To qualify for a return, the item must:
- Be unused and in its original condition.
- Be returned in its original packaging, including all accessories where applicable.
- Not be damaged due to misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper handling.
- Include proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt).
We reserve the right to inspect all returned products before approving a refund or replacement.
Faulty, Damaged or Defective Products
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or develops a manufacturing fault within six (6) months of delivery, you are entitled to the remedies provided under the South African Consumer Protection Act.
After inspection, we will, where applicable:
- Repair the product;
- Replace the product; or
- Issue a full refund.
This does not apply to damage resulting from:
- Misuse or abuse
- Accidental damage
- Incorrect installation or use
- Normal wear and tear
- Failure to follow product instructions
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include clear photographs of the damage so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
How to Initiate a Return
To request a return, please email us at:
Please include:
- Your order number
- Your full name
- Reason for the return
- Photos of the item if it is damaged or defective
We aim to respond to all return requests within 1–2 business days.
Please do not send items back without first receiving return instructions, as unauthorised returns may not be accepted.
Change of Mind Returns
If you simply change your mind, we may accept a return provided:
- The request is made within 7 days of delivery.
- The item is unused and in its original packaging.
- The product is in resalable condition.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Exchanges
We only replace products if they are:
- Defective
- Damaged during delivery
- Incorrectly supplied

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved or rejected.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
Shipping charges are only refundable where required by law or where the return is due to our error.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:
- The item is defective;
- The item arrived damaged; or
- We sent the incorrect product.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items and are not responsible for items lost during return transit.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or defective under the Consumer Protection Act:
- Items returned more than 15 days after delivery for change-of-mind requests.
- Items not returned in their original condition or packaging.
- Products damaged due to customer misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper care.
- Used food-contact kitchen products and other hygiene-sensitive items returned for change-of-mind reasons.
- Clearance or Final Sale items clearly marked as non-returnable.
- Gift cards and digital products (where applicable).
Inspection of Returned Goods
All returned items are inspected upon arrival.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund or reduce the refund amount where the returned product:
- Has been used beyond what is reasonably necessary to assess it.
- Has been damaged through misuse or negligence.
- Is missing original packaging, accessories, or components.
- Cannot be resold as new due to the customer's actions.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other applicable South African law.
